The VISOgraphic prepress department offers Full-Service graphic design and production capabilities. We accept jobs via email (no file size limitations), our web site at www.visographic.com via the "Upload Files" button, our FTP site (ftp://ftp.visographic.com), and disk. Original art and transparencies can be scanned with our high-end Creo Eversmart Jazz Scanner. We support all industry-standard graphics applications on the Mac and Windows.

Our Kodak Prinergy Evo digital workflow (see diagram at right), includes imposition, trapping, and imaging of data. Your artwork, whether originating from application files or from PDF files, is rasterized to create print-ready data. The integrity of this data remains constant as it is sent to multiple proofing and computer-to-plate (CTP) devices.

We do not use film or film-based proofing. Digital proofing usually starts with a trapped low resolution PDF sent to your email, or a high quality trapped laser printout. After you approve you PDF or laser proof, your project is imposed and a Spinjet 1000 color blueline proof is output. If requested, a press calibrated Epson 10000 with BestColor RIP, contract proof showing accurate color can be output so you can see the final color before going to a digitally imaged plate.

Our computer-to-plate (CTP) workflow delivers your project to the pressroom faster. Using our Creo Lotem 800 II Quantum Platesetter with online processor and plate stacker, your printed piece is one generation closer to the original. Makeready times are reduced. Changes are easier to make and less costly to implement.
